German house duo andhim have returned with a fresh interpretation of Yamil and Clemente’s ‘Darkest Nights,’ released via Essential Part. Simon Haehnel and Tobias Müller take the original’s vocal and wrap it in a new harmonic framework, steering the track toward a more groove-led direction.
The remix introduces a crisp arpeggio that wasn’t present in the first version, adding a layer of rhythmic momentum and melodic intrigue. While the vocal remains a familiar anchor, the chords have been reshaped to sit deeper in the mix, allowing the percussion and bassline to drive the energy.
True to andhim’s style, the rework balances warmth and dancefloor functionality. It’s a respectful nod to the source material that confidently stands on its own, offering DJs a versatile tool for late-night sets.

‘Darkest Nights (andhim Remix)’
