Desert Hearts is returning to its close-knit roots with Microfest, a new boutique gathering set in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Taking over the 132-acre Deloro Valley retreat from October 1 to 5, the event strips the festival experience down to community, connection, and a carefully curated soundtrack of house and techno.
The lineup brings together more than 30 artists. Detroit pioneers DJ Minx and Stacey Pullen lead the bill, joined by Doc Martin, Danny Daze, Justin Martin, DJ Holographic, Kevin Knapp, and a live set from SHADED. Toy Tonics selectors Barbara Boeing and Cody Currie add a European touch, while the Desert Hearts family—Mikey Lion, Marbs, Lee Reynolds, Porky, and others—anchors the weekend.
In a statement, Mikey and Marbs described the curation as intentional, blending legends with cutting-edge newcomers and like-minded European artists alongside DH veterans who know the vibe best. They called the result forward-thinking yet deeply rooted in the community that has defined Desert Hearts for over a decade.
The announcement lands alongside “A Place For Us,” the first single from Mikey Lion and Marbs’ newly unified artist project. By day, attendees can swim, explore the property, or unwind under the trees; by night, a Void Acoustics sound system powers the underground energy, with additional curated moments unfolding across the site.

اعلام این رویداد هم‌زمان با انتشار قطعهٔ «A Place For Us» است، نخستین سینگل از پروژهٔ مشترک Mikey Lion و Marbs.
