Ibiza’s party landscape can feel like a revolving door of identical headliners, but a decade ago Christian Len decided to rip up the script. The Barcelona native, frustrated by the island’s predictable bookings, gathered two close friends and began throwing their own gatherings. What started as a small, defiant gesture has grown into Homies—a night that feels less like a superclub marathon and more like a house party thrown by your most music-obsessed mates.
From the beginning, the ethos was simple: comfort first. Homies parties are deliberately intimate, with soft furnishings, warm lighting and a crowd that treats the dancefloor like a living room. Yet don’t mistake the cosiness for a lack of energy—the nights are famously hedonistic, fuelled by carefully curated sets that skip the obvious anthems in favour of deeper, more playful selections.
Now firmly nestled into Ibiza’s seasonal calendar, Homies has earned a loyal following without ever chasing the mainstream. The crew’s DIY spirit remains intact, and each event still feels hand-stitched rather than mass-produced. As the party marks its tenth anniversary, DJ Mag’s Kristan J Caryl caught up with Len and his team to dig into the journey, the philosophy and what keeps Homies so refreshingly different.

از همان ابتدا، اصل اول راحتی بود. مهمانی‌های Homies عمداً صمیمی طراحی می‌شوند، با مبل‌های نرم، نورپردازی گرم و جمعیتی که با دنس‌فلور مثل پذیرایی خانه برخورد می‌کند. اما این فضای دنج را با کم‌انرژی بودن اشتباه نگیرید – شب‌های Homies به هدونیسم معروفند و با ست‌های دقیقاً کیوریت‌شده‌ای پیش می‌روند که آنتم‌های گل‌درشت را کنار می‌زنند و سراغ سلکشن‌های عمیق‌تر و بازیگوش‌تر می‌روند.
