After more than 300 releases across his career, Hamburg-based artist Lampé has finally delivered his debut album. Titled Passion, the 11-track project lands on his own Alula Tunes imprint, marking a significant milestone for the prolific producer.
The LP moves fluidly between techno, melodic, progressive, minimal, and psytechno territories, yet maintains a cohesive narrative from start to finish. Tracks like ‘My Love’, ‘Hypnotized’, ‘Words Fall’, and ‘Cow Da Welsh’ showcase driving peak-time energy, while cuts such as ‘Shining Tonight’ and ‘Beachtime’ lean into more hypnotic and melodic passages.
Lampé’s work has already earned support from heavyweights including Township Rebellion, Joris Voorn, John 00 Fleming, and Oliver Huntemann, alongside placements on Beatport charts and Spotify editorial playlists. Reflecting on the album, he states, “Art and music should never be a competition; it should be your passion.”
