San Diego Comic-Con attendees got more than panels and cosplay this year when Jamie Campbell Bower stepped behind the decks for an unannounced DJ set. The Stranger Things actor, who portrays Vecna on the show, surprised the crowd with a selection that leaned heavily into classic French touch.
Bower's musical roots run deep. Before his rise on screen, he fronted the punk outfit Counterfeit and later launched the solo electronic project BloodMagic, through which he has released a string of dark, synth-driven tracks. His transition into DJing feels like a natural extension of that creative arc.
The set reportedly included cuts from Daft Punk and Justice, two acts that have long defined the intersection of electronic music and pop culture. Fans shared clips of the performance, showing Bower at ease in the booth, blending his own productions with the iconic sounds that inspired him.
While no official recording of the set has surfaced, the moment adds another layer to Bower's multifaceted career and hints at more club-focused appearances down the line.
